Bilateral Multiple Cementomas In The Mandible.

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of 57-year-old woman involving multiple cementomas in the mandible has been presented.
She has been suffered on account of advanced dental caries of left 2nd, premolar and its periapical abscess with sinus tract in oral mucosa.
On the roentgenogram, periapical and lateral jaw films, the cementomas were exposed multiple radiopaque masses such as same density of normal cementum beneath the apex of root extending from bilateral premolars to distal area of 2nd, molars in mandible.
Surgical approach was performed by means of extraction of the caries 2nd premolar and insertion of 1/4 inch strip gauze using the antibiotics. The cementomas were not removed because of having no symptoms.
